Bay Area air quality advisory extended through Thursday SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- An air quality advisory that was issued for the Bay Area for Wednesday afternoon has been extended through Thursday, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. The advisory is due to wildfire smoke from southwestern Oregon.
