38 displaced after suspected arson at St. Paul apartment building

After 38 people were displaced from a suspected apartment building arson in St. Paul, work was underway Monday to relocate people to other residences, according to the American Red Cross and the property management company.Firefighters were called to the North End building about 10:15 p.m. Sunday. A fire extended from the first floor and affected all three floors of 1551 Albemarle St., which is part of Lamplighter Village Apartments.One person and a firefighter sustained non-life threatening injuries, said Deputy Fire Chief Roy Mokosso. Fire crews were on the scene for more than five hours. The fire and police departments are investigating.A shelter for apartment residents who were displaced was temporarily set up at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, according to the Red Cross. CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Saturday, William Jordan, 57, of Salem, was arrested for Forgery, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, Attempted Grand Larceny, and Petit Larceny. The arrest was made after police investigated a complaint from a business owner that someone had used an unauthorized check to try and take money out of the company's bank account. Jordan forged the check for over $11,000 and attempted to deposit the funds into another account. No funds were released.Jordan surrendered himself to State Police in Clifton Park. AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Amsterdam Police have arrested Anthony T. Kelley, 22, and Greggory T. Pelosi, 20, following an investigation into a collision between a motor vehicle and a cyclist. ST. LOUIS - Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public's help to solve a quadruple shooting from over the weekend that claimed the life of two teenagers.According to a police spokesperson, the shooting occurred just after 1:50 a.m. Sunday, in the 2100 block of Branch Street, located in the Hyde Park neighborhood.Officers found one victim, an 18-year-old female, in the 1900 block of Agnes Street. A second victim, a 17-year-old female, was located inside a residence in the 2000 block of Agnes. A man has been detained on suspicion of first-degree murder, after a Gunnison County deputy found him near a vehicle that contained two bodies early Monday.The suspect’s name has not been released and the names of the deceased are pending notification of next of kin.Gunnison County Sheriff Adam Murdie said there is no known risk to the public at this time. Preliminary information did not indicate a possible motive.At about 4:15 a.m., a deputy on patrol near Sapinero spotted a vehicle about 50 yards off U.S. 50 near mile marker 135, in some sagebrush.
