The wife of the 44-year-old man fatally shot in St. Paul while interrupting a car theft said Monday that “our hearts are broken and our world has been turned upside down by the senseless act.”Michael Scott Brasel, a father of two sons, was killed outside his home in the St. Anthony Park neighborhood on Saturday morning.Michael Brasel (Courtesy of the family)Police said Monday their investigation into Brasel’s killing is “active and ongoing.” No one was under arrest as of Monday morning.“We plead with the public to come forward if you know any details, or have any idea of who could have robbed Michael of the life he loved,” Hilary Brasel said in a Monday statement. “Michael deserves justice. EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The East Greenbush Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday on Columbia Turnpike in Worthman Lane. After an investigation, police say they found Scott was driving East on Columbia Turnpike when he lost control of his motorcycle, crashing into a wooded area. A passenger was taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. ST. LOUIS - Investigators with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department have released a series of photos of two suspects wanted in connection with a weekend shooting on Cherokee Street.According to Evita Caldwell, a police spokeswoman, the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Cherokee Street, as the Cinco de Mayo festival was wrapping up for the day.Officers who were working a detail at the festival found the victims near the intersection of Cherokee and Ohio, Caldwell said. Both victims, a man and woman in their mid-20s, had suffered gunshot wounds to their legs.The female victim was taken to a local hospital. The male victim refused treatment at the scene.The victims told police there was a fight involving a large group of men when a woman took out a handgun and waved it around. A second individual, a man, also displayed a handgun. ST. LOUIS - One man was arrested and charged last week in connection with a pair of shootings in a downtown St. Louis parking garage.According to Sgt. Charles Wall, a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, both crimes occurred in the St. Louis Convention Center Hotel Garage, located in the 400 block of North 9th Street. The first shooting happened on May 3 just after 6 p.m., Wall said. Officers found Latatia Stewart lying on the ground next to her vehicle with gunshot wounds to her chest and side. EMS pronounced Stewart dead at the scene. She was 56. Four people killed in a small plane crash in Phantom Canyon were adults in their 50s and 60s from Florence and federal authorities are investigating, Teller County officials said Monday morning.The dead were identified as Bruce Claremont, Laurie Aves, Roger Duncan and Katherine Duncan, deputy coroner Jill Schulman said.They died at the scene where the Cessna T-41B crashed Saturday night in steep forest, igniting a fire, and searchers hiked roughly two miles through difficult terrain to reach the wreckage, said Schulman, who worked the scene Sunday.“We know it was Saturday evening …..
