In-N-Out Burger, the wildly popular SoCal-based fast-food chain, has been flipping burgers for the masses since 1948.Founded by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, In-N-Out is known for its sought-after "animal-style" burgers, sunflower oil-cooked french fries and old-fashioned milkshakes.Lynsi Snyder, president and CEO and granddaughter of the late founders, recently penned a book, titled "The Ins-N-Outs of In-N-Out Burger." Man Killed in Road 112 Motorcycle-Auto CollisionVISALIA, CA (August 4, 2023) – Wednesday night, a man was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash on Avenue 328 in Tulare County.California Highway Patrol officers responded to the fatal incident around 10:13 p.m. at Avenue 328 and Road 112.Upon arrival, authorities learned that a westbound 2022 Honda motorcycle collided with the side of an eastbound Dodge.According to the investigators, the 38-year-old man driving the 2017 Dodge on eastbound Avenue 328 stopped at Road 112.The man failed to see the westbound motorcycle and continued to turn onto Road 112, directly into the path of the rider.As a result, the motorcycle hit the right side of the Dodge and ejected the rider upon impact. Two-Vehicle Crash near American Avenue Left One Dead, Two InjuredFRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 4, 2023) – Early Wednesday evening, a rear-end crash on Clovis Avenue claimed the life of Yadira Ruby Pineda.According to California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on August 2nd, at around 5:45 p.m. in the area of Clovis Avenue and American Avenue.Investigators claimed that a 2021 Honda Accord was traveling at a high rate of speed along southbound Clovis before hitting an Isuzu box truck.The impact of the collision caused the Accord to shear off the truck’s rear axle and sent it 15 feet beneath the truck.Due to the crash, the Honda’s passenger sustained fatal injuries upon impact and died at the scene. A brush fire that started Thursday afternoon is burning in the hills near Mount Hamilton Road.The Clayton Fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. Thursday east of Clayton Road. Within about six hours, it had burned 66 acres (0.1 square miles) and was 30% contained, said the Santa Clara unit of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.No evacuation orders or warnings were issued, though the fire approached homes in the Via de la Vista and Three Springs areas, near the GrandView Restaurant. OAKLAND — A suspect in an Oakland road rage shooting has been charged in federal court and is expected to be hit with an indictment this month, as his attorney and prosecutors negotiate a plea deal, court records show.Antoyne Bullock, 43, is charged with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a federal offense that carries up to 10 years in prison, according to the criminal complaint. DETROIT (AP) — Electric and hydrogen-powered heavy truck maker Nikola Corp. has named board Chairman Stephen Girsky as its new CEO.The former General Motors executive and auto industry analyst replaces Michael Lohscheller, who will step down immediately as CEO, and as a board member on Aug. 31.The Phoenix-based company says in a statement Friday that Lohscheller made the decision due to a family health matter and will return to Europe.
